Last night I attended the National Zoo's "Escape to the Wild Side..." event. The key speaker was Jeff Corwin from Animal Planet. I must say he was a great speaker. He has a lot of wonderful stories and was very funny and poignant.The zoo is one of the best things about living in the DC area, I've always loved animals and have visited many different zoos. The National Zoo is definitely one of the best. Course I'm a bit partial to pandas so my opinion might be a bit biased. :)
